Organic Plum Compote

Make the most of the abundance of plums this autumn with a simple and delicious compote. Great as an easy desert served with whipped cream or coconut yoghurt. Or keep in the fridge to add to your breakfast each morning - fantastic paired with Greek yoghurt and muesli.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Heat water in a large saucepan and once boiling add sugar and dissolve.
  2. Add the plums, cinnamon sticks (if using) and simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. When sauce thickens, leave to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Can be stored in an air tight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
