Ingredients - Infused Apple Cider Vinegar
3 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cardamom pods
Star anise (optional)
Add all the infusion ingredients to a jar with a screw top lid.
Shake well and leave at room temperature for 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks, strain the apple cider vinegar into a glass bottle to keep on hand for prepping your tonics.
Ingredients - Tonic
2 tbsp infused apple cider vinegar
1 small piece of turmeric root, peeled and grated
1 small piece of ginger, peeled and grated
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons honey
Pinch of pepper
To prepare the tonic, combine all ingredients into a jug and mix.
Divide the mixture between 2 mugs, top-up with warm water and enjoy!
You can omit the infusion step and still get all the goodness by using standard apple cider vinegar.
