Broccoli can be eaten raw or cooked (better to steam rather than boil). The broccoli stem can also be eaten, either steamed or try it raw - remove the skin, slice finely and sprinkle with herb salt. Raw broccoli contains almost as much calcium as milk. It is better to undercook broccoli as that helps it retain its rich chlorophyll content.
