It’s awkward, that feeling when you’ve worked hard to cater to everyone’s different needs and diets for Christmas dinner, and then the classic Kiwi moment arrives – you bring out the pavlova! Everyone cheers and happily tucks in…except any vegans at your table. Try this hassle free idea so that any vegans can enjoy dessert alongside your traditional pavlova!
Ingredients
- 475ml Tub of Little Island Ice Cream
- Punnet of Strawberries
- 1 x Green Kiwifruit (peeled)
Method
Simply slice strawberries and kiwifruit.
Take your Little Island Ice Cream tub out of the freezer and rinse under warm-hot water for 30 seconds.
The ice cream should then slide out neatly (like a sandcastle!) onto a plate.
Place fruit slices along the outside of it (don’t worry, they’ll stick!).
