Fresh Produce Store Worker – Full Time
Our Wellington City store is looking for an energetic and customer focused store worker to join their friendly team. You'll work across the store with an emphasis on Fresh Produce which will involve receiving, handling and displaying high-quality organic fruit and vegetables. Being physically strong is essential in this role.

Naturopath or Retail Health Specialist - Part time (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Naturopath to join our team, working primarily within the Health and Beauty department of the store. In this role, you will support customers by providing expert advice on health products, supplements, and nutrition to help them make informed choices.
Ideally, you will hold a qualification in Naturopathy; however, we would also love to hear from candidates who are currently studying Naturopathy and/or Medical Herbalism.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training in, and a good knowledge of natural health products, nutrition and herbal remedies
- Providing customers with accurate product and nutritional information
- Proactive and friendly customer service
- Managing stock ordering and stock handling with a high level of accuracy
- Creating and maintaining attractive promotional and special displays
- Demonstrating initiative, and responsibility within the health department
- Supporting the wider store team and assisting wherever needed
We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is proactive, reliable, and willing to contribute across all areas of the store when required.

In this role, you’ll:
- Manage a team of passionate people, who care deeply about what they do
- Take the lead on customer service and model this to all staff
- Learn to order and merchandise goods across all departments - fresh foods, grocery and health and beauty
- Manage the store budget, and be responsible for growing sales
- Work with Head Office to promote the store and company within the local community and wider region
To be successful in this role you'll need to have:
- An excellent understanding of organics, fair trade and allergy friendly foods
- Excellent people skills, particularly staff management and customer service
- Experience in retail management
- A passion for sustainability and other values aligned with the business
- Competent analytical and computer skills

Commonsense Mt Eden is a busy organic retail store catering for people buying organic food, allergy-free food and environmentally friendly products. We are currently looking for casual staff to help support this efficient and friendly team. This role will involve shifts being offered regularly when people are sick or need time off. If you want to learn the ins and outs of a vibrant organic retail store but can't commit to a permanent position this role may be for you!
