Head Office (Wellington)
Products Administrator
We are hiring for an administrative all star who is able to coordinate our wide range of products. Core duties include:
- New product administration and database management
- System updates and troubleshooting
- Supporting Head of Retail with supplier liaison
- Administration of product meetings
The successful candidate will have excellent time management, communication and organisational skills and be proactive and adaptable to the needs of the business. Computer literacy is a requirement, particularly in excel, with some experience with website management preferred. An ability to maintain and improve systems and process will be an added advantage in the role.
As with all our roles, knowledge and enthusiasm for organics and sustainability will be a key consideration.

Mt Eden
Shop Worker - Natural Health Specialist
Commonsense Mt Eden is a busy organic retail store catering for people buying organic food, allergy-free food and environmentally friendly products. We are currently recruiting a part time role in our natural health department, working across 2 to 3 weekdays and one weekend day.
This role would suit a naturopath, nutritionist or medical herbalist or someone studying in any of these areas. While this position is primarily based in the health department, the successful applicant will be required to work across other areas of the store, particularly grocery, and serve on counter as required.

Wellington City
Senior produce worker (Tuesday - Saturday)
We are looking for an energetic, engaging and customer focused Fresh Produce worker to join our Wellington City team. This is a full time position (Tuesday - Saturday).
In this role, you will:
Provide excellent customer service;
- Liaise with, and support, our fresh produce growers;
- Carry out a variety of shop tasks including unloading deliveries, re-stocking and serving customers;
- Oversee layout and display of fresh produce with a focus on quality and visual appeal;
- Be part of a friendly and productive team of people, who care about what they do;
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in retail, ideally within a fresh produce department;
- Good knowledge of fruit and veg varieties, knowledge of organics and a passion for the environment;
- A sound understanding of maths and numbers;
- An eye for detail and visual displays;
- High levels of independence, integrity, self-motivation and drive;
- Proven ability and desire to be part of a team working co-operatively and effectively together to achieve objectives;
- Excellent relationship and communication skills;
- Enthusiasm and a sense of humour
