These delicious cookies were made in celebration of Fair Trade Fortnight 2016 - we think using Fairtrade products makes them taste all the more delicious. We love eating them straight out of the oven (after a bit of time to cool, obviously - we don't want to burn our tongues!) with a big mug of Fairtrade coffee, hot chocolate or tea.
Ingredients
1/4 cup fine oats
2/4 cup Trade Aid coconut
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp Trade Aid cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp Trade Aid coconut oil
1/4 cup mashed All Good bananas
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup agave
A few handfuls of Trade Aid chocolate chips
Method
To start, heat your oven to 180 degrees. Take all of the dry ingredients and mix them together in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together all of the wet ingredients. Then combine the two bowls together and mix until smooth. Take spoonfuls of the mix onto a baking tray covered in baking paper - you should have enough mixture for about 15 spoonfuls. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
